At tonight’s meeting, The Mission Viejo City Council voted to extend our lease agreement with the City through this summer. We would like to thank the Council for their continued support of our programming. This of course means we can now officially open registration for Summer Camp 2011. This year’s schedule has all of our best trips from the past, and some great new locations as well. If you want one of our limited spots, please don’t delay.
Although this is great news, we still have a lot of work to do to keep our organization at The Potocki Center. Our next challenge will come at The Community Services Commission Meeting on May 17th. During that meeting, the City will discuss their plans form the future of the Potocki Center and decide which organizations will be selected to offer programming at the center. If you would like us to continue to offer our activities, camps, and events at The Potocki Center, please plan on attending this meeting and show your support.
For now, it’s time to celebrate that we will once again be offering the most incredible Summer Camp around to the residents of The City of Mission Viejo and surrounding communities. We are extremely excited about this year’s camp and we hope you will be joining us.
