Summer Camp FAQs

What is your ratio of staff to campers?

We maintain a ratio of 1 to 10 throughout the summer. In addition to our paid staff, we also use CITs (Counselors in Training) to assist with groups and activities.

Is there a Sibling Discount?

Yes. Every 10th day your family attends is FREE for the whole family. These discounts will be credited manually in the system by our staff ($45 per child).

Do the kids stay together as groups during field trips?

At amusement parks, groups will always be accompanied by our staff. At some locations where the kids are within sight, a perimeter will be established and those boundaries and any guidelines will be shared with the campers.

What is the average age at your camp?

Although we open the camp to ages 5-14, most of our campers range from 7 to 12. If your child is a bit older or younger, don’t worry. We make sure that there’s something happening for everyone.

How do you divide the different aged campers?

For some of our activities and trips we do divide the campers by age. There are other times where mixing the ages provides an opportunity for older campers to mentor the younger campers. At all times, the activities are presented in a way that is challenging and appropriate for any camper who will participate.

What kind of experience and training do your staff have?

Being a small camp is great! Our most experienced staff get to work directly with the campers. When we do bring in new staff, we only hire mature and experienced youth development professionals. Our entire staff trains as a team prior to camp and continues to develop and improve throughout the summer. Everyone from our organization has undergone a complete background check and our lead staff are CPR certified and trained in first-aid.
